The Victoria Sr. B Shamrocks would like to team up with minor lacrosse associations to provide an exciting atmosphere for young lacrosse players when they come to watch the Sr. B Shamrocks play.
Each home game, the Shamrocks will invite 1-2 U7 teams (up to 20 players) to the game to be a “Shamrock Buddy!” for the game; sponsored by Encore Fitness & Sport and Red Hot Real Estate. Parents will bring their young U7’s 30 minutes before game time to our designated meeting space in the lower lobby between dressing rooms. Players will don their jerseys and shorts and will be escorted by a Shamrock Volunteer along with a coach, manager, or a few parents to the floor entrance where the Sr. B Shamrocks get introduced. In numerical order (but goalies first), each player will be introduced by number and name along with a respective Sr. B Shamrock player and will line-up beside them on the blue line. Each player can smack gloves or helmets with the “big boys” until everyone is announced.
Everyone will stay on the blue line until the completion of the National Anthem. Once completed, the Shamrocks will jog to their net in preparation for the game and the U7 players will jog to the floor entrance again to which they entered.
Players and parents will then enjoy the first period of the game and then will congregate in the lower lobby meeting place to dress their children in preparation for their 1st intermission game. Sr. teams will exit the floor and then the U7’s will take the floor and play a 6-minute mini-game. Upon completion, they exit the floor and receive a juice box and choice of granola bar or fruit strip.
Players that stay to the 2nd intermission, those players get the opportunity to run out on to the floor after the 2nd intermission “frisbee toss” and collect as many frisbees as they can and put in the tub.

*We understand the Wednesday games may be too late, but we may have to fill those slots with an older group if we cannot get enough U7’s.
Adult admission prices are $10 per person. If teams can confirm more than 12 adults will be in attendance, then a group rate of $8 per person will be provided.
