Community involvement is the power to bring positive, measurable change to both the communities in which you operate and to your business. The Victoria Senior B Shamrocks are committed to this statement and wish to build and strengthen our community ties, not just with local businesses but with the lacrosse community.
Community involvement examples include in-kind and financial donations, player appearance & volunteer days, enduring non-profit partnerships, and more. The business case for corporate community involvement has never been stronger. With the rise in cost of community organized sports and knowing how fragile many local community businesses are; we understand the need for a business and sport partnership where both benefit from each others' involvement.
In fact, the benefits of corporate community involvement are two-fold, providing positive returns to local non-profit organizations and boosting company performance indicators, such as reputation and employee engagement. As your company builds partnerships and working relationships with local community non-profits and service-based organizations, neighborhoods are strengthened.
If you wish to be involved with the Victoria Senior B Shamrocks and/or wish to have our organization get involved with our business, endeavour or local athletic organization, please contact General Manager & Vice President of Business Development Tyson Leies at tysonleies@telus.net or Team Manager Conor Woroniuk at conor.woroniuk00@gmail.com.
